Medsafe group manager Chris James wouldn&#8217;t comment on who those organizations are, but the Herald is aware that three licenses are held by start-ups Hikurangi Cannabis, Cannasouth and Helius Therapeutics.<\/p>\n<p>James says the Ministry is working through another 45 applications and that others have already been rejected. Still-forming cannabis industry, several Kiwi companies have quickly stuck their heads above the mass around them.<\/p>\n<p>What the six indicate is that there\u2019s no blueprint for entering an industry that doesn\u2019t yet exist.
